Our August 31, 2009 (deadline) has passed and we are pleased to report that 80 classmates and wives/guests have registered for the 42nd Anniversary Reunion for BC 4-67.

The FINAL schedule of events and times is included with this bulletin # 3. We will utilize 2 buses for transportation to MCAS, MCRD and the Midway. Bus seating will be on an open basis. All participants are advised to carry photo ID’s at all times to satisfy any base or Midway security requirements.

Upon check in at the Reunion registration desk in the hotel, you’ll receive, a name tag, and schedule of events with times. If you plan dinner at Pizza Nova you’ll need to register and provide $25/head payment at the registration desk. If you intend to play golf on Saturday, you’ll also need to register when you sign-in, payment will also be due at that time.

Dress is generally neat casual;

·         For all base visits, a collared shirt and appropriate casual slacks (i.e. khakis or other similar seasonal, no shorts) should be worn; this includes the memorial service. We’ll make no attempt at how wives should dress, they know better than us.

·         For Mess Night, neat casual is appropriate, again no shorts.

·         For evening events such as the opening reception, Midway and Pizza Nova, shorts are acceptable.

·         Golf is normal dress for golf, no specific instructions. The golfers know course protocol.

Any reservations received after August 31st will be handled separately and should be confirmed with

Ed Smith (efsmith45@comcast.net);

Mike West (mikewest@pacbell.net)  or

Marty Hime (martinhime@hotmail.com).

Mike West and the Host committee have done an outstanding job in putting the events together and we all should have a great time.
